The ASA Center for Career Navigation at Jobs for the Future (JFF) is excited to launch the Career Navigation Stakeholder Network. This initiative – bringing together stakeholders invested in supporting 16-24 year olds in having the information, guidance, and opportunities they need to make education and career choices that lead to quality jobs – is designed to create a community dedicated to strengthening practice, fostering research and learning, engaging with key policy issues, and driving impact within local, state, and national ecosystems.
The Benefits
Joining the Career Navigation Stakeholder Network offers you and your organization many benefits including:
- Invitation-only access to webinars, trainings, and exclusive interviews with leaders in the field who are driving innovation and impact in how we support youth and young adults in making education and career choices that lead to quality jobs and economic opportunity
- Priority invitation to JFF-hosted career navigation convenings and workshops, including special opportunities at Horizons, JFF’s annual summit
- Access to professional development opportunities – remote and in-person workshops – that help career navigators build their knowledge and skills
- Curated opportunities for peer learning and exchange, helping you make new connections and work more effectively with regional and national partners. Early access opportunities to test and use tools developed specifically for youth and young adults navigating their education and career choices
- Opportunities to apply for funding, technical assistance, and other key assets that can help your organization maximize impact
Is it right for you?
This opportunity is right for you if your organization:
- Works directly with 16-24 year olds engaged with education and careers
- Is engaged with solutions that expand opportunities for youth and young adults to explore career opportunities, even if you do not directly serve youth
- Funds education and career programs for 16-24 year olds
- Conducts research on education and career issues for 16-24 year olds
- Is engaged with policy issues related to education and career for 16-24 year olds
- Is a public sector partner focused on education and careers for 16-24 year olds
Most importantly, this opportunity is right for you if you identify with one of the categories above and you are excited about the opportunity to strive towards excellence in your own work and the broader career navigation ecosystem for young people.
